NelSound 2004

After the event being delayed twice it was all go for the first NelSound on Saturday 22 May run by Retravision Stoke TV and Radio. The weather didn’t look the best in the morning but thanks to the wind, as the morning turned into afternoon, the clouds disappeared and the sun came out shining ready for a great event. Competitors came from all parts of the South Island; Blenheim, Christchurch, Ashburton, and with the local support of the Nelson cars a great turnout was achieved. (more…)

Sound Deadener - How To

Many people use sound deadener in their installs. Why? Because it helps stop rattles/vibrations by adding mass to the panel it’s applied to and increases bass response in drivers mounted in doors. It can also help reduce road noise, therefore you don’t have to turn your system up so loud and make it work so hard. Road noise can also mess with some frequencies resulting in loss of detail and skewering response. (more…)
